Head Coach - Christian Conway
Coach Conway began his lacrosse career in 1999 as a founding member of the Pope John XXIII boys lacrosse team, where he served as captain.
Following his graduation from St. Bonaventure University, he became a teacher of mathematics at Macopin, where he began attempting to bring the sport of lacrosse to West Milford. Due to lack of opportunity in West Milford, he joined the PJ staff as the boy's JV coach in 2007.
The opportunity to become a head coach came in the fall of 2009 when he was offered the girls position at Pope John. In his first season he lead a resurgence of the program with a 10 - 7 record, a drastic improvement from 1 - 19 the previous season.
Coach Conway joined the West Milford girls staff as defensive coordinator in 2014. In 2016 he became the second head coach in the program's history.
In addition to lacrosse, Coach Conway has been an assistant ice hockey coach at Vernon since 2004.

Assistant Coach - Krista Provost
Coach Provost attended WMHS, and graduated in 2003. While in high school, she played field hockey, basketball, and softball. During her junior year, she focused on field hockey, and was a senior captain. She played in an adult field hockey league and then began coaching field hockey her senior year of college in West Milford as the freshman coach. She coached the freshman field hockey team for 5 years and eventually became the head varsity coach in 2012, and will be entering her second season as the head coach, a total of seven years in the program. She coordinates the field hockey youth travel teams of over thirty athletes, organize and coach the field hockey winter, spring, and summer clinics and camps.
Coach Lugerner introduced Coach Provost to lacrosse when the girls team was established as a JV team in 2011. She was the volunteer lacrosse coach for two seasons, and then in their third season of establishment, she moved up to the JV coach position in 2013. She has worked closely with Coach Lugerner to learn the sport and help bring some of my field hockey experiences into the lacrosse program. She has attended lacrosse clinics with Coach Lugerner, to help prepare and improve herlacrosse coaching. When asked about her participation with the program, she commented, "itis a wonderful opportunity to be a part of the newly founded program, and to start team traditions that will last for years to come."
